Hina

from NZ$200.00

Hina

There are many pūrākau about wahine atua Hina. This mahi depicts the pūrākau of how Hina taught her brother Māui-tikitiki-a-Taranga to plait ropes from her hair allowing her brothers to capture Te Rā. Thus allowing us to have longer days.

It serves as a celebration of Hina's character, highlighting her nurturing spirit and the pivotal role she plays in Māori mythology. This mahi not only honours Hina but also inspires us to appreciate the powerful roles Wāhine hold in shaping narratives and communities.

This is a limited edition Metallic Silver Foil Print. It is available in size A3, A2 & A1. Please use the side handle to select your size. (only 50 available of each print)
